your former Big Friend Prof.J[Dz].Ioseliani (boss of paramilitary
"Mkhedrioni". + Former State Secretary James Backer was
Honoris member of "Mkhedrioni" !!!) and other 14 people
were already charged and even more - Ioseliani is already

"It was the second apparent attempt to kill Shevardnadze, who
once served as a Soviet foreign minister before Georgia gained
independence from the Soviet Union.
Shevardnadze was cut by flying glass when a bomb exploded in his
motorcade on August 29, 1995, as the president was leaving
for a ceremonial signing of the country's constitution.
Georgian prosecutors have since charged 14 people in connection
with the attack.
The suspects included Shevardnadze's former supporter Dzhaba
Ioseliani, who along with some of the other suspects had been
a member of the outlawed Mkhedrioni organization.
Mkhedrioni is an armed group that had helped oust this former
Soviet republic's first popularly elected president, Zviad
