The reconciliation with "Zviadists" continues. The Office of Procurator-General announced that any of the 129 wanted "Zviadists" might be discharged
if voluntarily surrendered to the law-enforcement authorities; 11 criminal cases (including those of two former ministers of Gamsakhurdia’s government, Murman Omanidze and Beso Gugushvili, and former deputy chairman of the Supreme Council Nemo Burchuladze)
were closed without any conditions. However, 57 other Zviadists are still wanted in connection with especially serious crimes.

Besarion Gugushvili, the prime minister of Gamsakhurdia’s government who lives in emigration now, flatly disapproves of any possibility to reconcile with the present authorities. Such reconciliation, in his words, would mean "collaboration with the evil". "They have tortured and shot 300 Gamsakhurdia’s supporters," he says.
